The Kansas Infant Death and SIDS Network, Inc. serves those individuals who have been touched by the tragedy of infant death or SIDS and those individuals or organizations who strive to reduce the risk of infant deaths by providing supportive services, community education, professional training, and supporting associated research.

Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Investigation (SUIDI) Training is a CDC-developed training that provides best practices for investigating infant deaths. Designed for death scene investigators, law enforcement, coroners, fire and EMS personnel, and social workers, this course offers practical tools to ensure accurate data collection and reporting. Each investigation helps improve understanding, prevention, and the safety of families and children.

The KIDS Network invites you to the Susan E. Bredehoft 26th Annual At-Home Candle Light Memorial in coordination with the Worldwide Candle Lighting initiated by The Compassionate Friends. The at-home memorial is done at your convenience. There is no specific date/time to attend. The KIDS Network will send you a candle light memorial kit. Safe Sleep TrainingSafe Sleep Instructors educate parents/caregivers, child care providers, health care providers, and other community members about safe sleep practices. Instructors are taught to serve as the voice for safe sleep by promoting it through standardized training and community outreach.
